What Do Hemorrhoids Look Like
I got a Hemorrhoid someone please help!!!?
when I woke up today I noticed some pain in my anus area, but I didn’t think it was anything because it happends to me a lot so I put some vitamin a and d oinment or whatever because that usually fixes the problem. I was taking a shower couple of hours ago, and noticed like a peanut sized thing and I was all nervous, my mom said it was a Hemorrhoid. I looked in a mirror and yeah its like covering my anus opening pretty much. I went to 24/7 Pharmacy and got some Wipes and Prepartion H and I applied it to it, and it seems to be burning more now. I’m 18 and new to all this stuff, anyone know what else I should do?
Also what can I do to reduce the inflammation or make this thing go away. it’s so annoying.

I have them too…yuck. Ok there are a few things I use that help.
1. Every time you have a BM use a baby wipe. It really helps to keep your tush clean…and the poo can irritate it.
2. Try a Sitz Bath…fill the tub half way with warm water and sit in it. (Medical people call it a sitz bath…they also make a plastic contraption that you put on your toilet and sit in…the tub is easier.)
3. I really like to use Tucks pads. They are like baby wipes but are soaked with Witch Hazel it is an astrengent and it will burn a little but it will reduces the swelling. It is kind of a cooling burn…like the stuff you put on your face after washing it.
4. While you are using the Prep H cream (I prefer the suppositories they are easier to use) anyway what ever you use put a panty liner in your panties so it don’t leave a stain. Also avoid thongs they kind of rub it the wrong way when they are swollen.
It should go down in a few days. It is a good idea to let a doctor look at it to make sure that it is not infected or you have something else going on. At least the first visit.
The only way to get rid of it is surgury. They don’t like to do that unless they are really bad. I’ve tried to get mine removed. They will flair up every now and again, usually near my time of the month. I’m kind of used to it by now.
